Girls

Marist Junior Football Club is part of the Claremont District Junior Girls Competition for
girls from school years 4 to 7. Games are played with modified rules and are scheduled for
4.30pm on Friday afternoons.

The focus is on fun, camaraderie and the enjoyment of getting a kick in a professionally
run and umpired environment. Last year was the Girls Team’s first year, and it was highly
successful.

The team has partnered with Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision, an initiative that the entire Marist
Junior Football Club is proud to support and promote. Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision has been
established to help adolescents and young adults suffering from Bone Marrow Failure
Syndromes while celebrating the inspiring life of Maddie, a keen junior footballer and a
passionate advocate for girls in footy. For more information on MRV please visit www.mrv.org.au
