The Marist Football Club is on the verge of some significant growth in its female sector as the club plans to go from three female standalone teams in 2019 to five in 2020.

in 2020 the Club will be fielding year 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12 sides meaning they will require another 50 odd female players to sign up for the club in the coming months.

With every added team, there is also a need for additional volunteers, so the club is seeking expressions of interests in coaching managers and players.

“The Club is becoming a destination club for players in the District and we’d like to think with the strong numbers of girls we’ve had both coming through our pathway, and general interest from girls schooling locally, that we can capture this growth.” said Marist FC President Matt Mazzuchelli.

The Marist Girls teams have generally been training one to two times per week and play matches on Friday afternoons and evenings.
